Rotala Macanda Green

Rotala macrandra 'Green', often referred to as R. macrandra "Wavy", is a delicate, smaller variant of the R. macrandra species, notable for its relative ease of cultivation. Distinct from the standard form of R. macrandra, this variant boasts longer, greener leaves that are also relatively smaller in size. Under intense lighting conditions, these leaves can transform into a wide ovoid shape, showcasing appealing reddish tints.

Proper trimming of the stems promotes a lush, bushy growth. Allowing Rotala macrandra 'Green' to touch the water's surface encourages the formation of emerged shoots. These shoots feature round, green, glossy leaves, and can also produce whitish flower spikes, enhancing the plant's visual appeal.
