Rotala ramosior 'Florida'
Rotala ramosior is an annual aquatic plant native to the wetlands spanning from North to South America. Interestingly, this plant has also naturalized in parts of Asia. When submerged, it produces straight, minimally branched stems that can extend to at least 20 cm in length. Several forms of this species exist within the aquarium hobby. The "Florida" variant is particularly noteworthy for its elongated egg-shaped leaves. Under optimal conditions, these leaves can display captivating light purple shades, presenting a stark contrast to the light green hue of the leaf middle rib, leaf base, and stems. Typically, the shoots of this variant measure approximately 2.5 cm in width, with individual leaves stretching to about 13 mm in length and 4 mm in width.
